Shelburne Museum

English Barn

In August, 2001, volunteers gathered at Shelburne Museum to raise the museum's new English Barn. Timbers from two VFF-affiliated woodlands provided hemlock for the barn's timbers and sheathing.

Bob Growney saws hemlock for the English Barn. All timbers and sheathing for the barn came from hemlocks on two VFF-affiliated parcels-41.5 acres owned by Ron and Karen McEachen and 55 acres owned by Mike and Katherine Quinn.
